Cloud☁️

Please don't believe the title😅; I am referring to the web-based cloud, an altogether different thing from what we see upwards in the sky.

A ByteBlogs style welcome! 😎

With Omicron spanning up itself in India and the world, I request each one of you to take the necessary precautions and follow the government-issued guidelines.

Now let's come to the topic of focus of today's blog, i.e., web cloud. The service that every individual accessing the internet uses directly or indirectly.

The most extensive files to this tiny ByteBlog that you are currently reading are stored somewhere on the cloud. So, let us start with it.

What is Cloud?

Cloud refers to the utility that can be accessed over the internet. These are constituted in the data centers of the cloud providers who run them.

Types of Cloud?

Types of Cloud Model?

I don't think anything can be more concise than this to explain it all; then also, let me just open the meaning of all these words.

IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service ) : In this model, the owner of the web infrastructure leases out the whole set-up to a company. You can use them as you like limited by the terms and conditions of your contract.

PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service ): In this model, typically, the user pays only for the services they have opted in. It is more like an individual package-based service, which gives flexibility to the user.

SaaS (Software-as-a-Service): This model gives the ability to run the web-based application without installing it. Tech Geeks would be familiar with the word "Heruko".😏

There is much more on this sub-topic, but we will keep this short as a thumb rule of ByteBlogs.

What's Different?

Deviating from the client-server model, the cloud pushes itself further in cloud computing because it can process and store the requests generated from the client-end, providing a seamless user experience.

So, that is it for today. Also, I got vaccinated with my first dose of COVAXIN as the Government of India opened up vaccination for the 15-18 Years age bracket, and my body did not report any side-effects, so I can say that it is entirely safe; go get your jab today!💉. Also, making up the graphics for this blog was a bit tough!😁. Anyways, if you have any queries, do post that in the box below.,.

Also, I am embedding a short clip by the industry leader (Cloudflare), which will help you understand this topic better.
